New Agency Regulations

New legislation was passed regarding Agency and

the new Regulations became effective on July 1, 2005.

The old Agency Disclosure Form can no longer be used.

Changes

There are new rules in the law on Sub Agency, Designated Agency, Dual Agency & Facilitation.

There are three new forms: a new Agency Disclosure Form and consent forms for Designated Agency and Dual Agency.

The Mass. Association of REALTORS^® has made available on their website sample forms, listing agreements, office policies, agency relationship overviews and FAQs.

It will be necessary to login as a member to access and view the information. If you've never logged in to MAR's website before, you'll need your NRDS ID# to login.

Ordering Forms

NCRs (duplicate copy forms) are available from MAR. The new forms will also become part of the Mass Forms software package, replacing the old Forms. The old Agency Disclosure Forms can not be used.
